Searching for a homebuilder who you feel comfortable working with and is trustworthy can be an exhausting process. This is even more difficult when you live 2,000 miles away from the jobsite. When you are looking to build a home for you and your family it is important to find a builder that will deliver a home with great quality and is cost effective.
I was searching for six months to find a company that met these qualifications to build my new home in Desert Mountain and it was not an easy task. Many of the bids were missing items and sometimes I wondered if they just missed them in order to get the deal and eventually come back later to tell us we now owe them more money when we are already in construction. I continued to sift through the bids and do my research and what I kept coming up with was Chris at Elite Luxury Homes. Elite had all of the details called out and there was never anything that surprised me. Furthermore, I just could feel their professionalism and I knew this was a true personality trait and not a façade just to get the deal. So I made the decision to select Elite Luxury Homes and what a decision I made.
Throughout the design and construction process Chris and his team continually proved their professionalism and expertise in this industry. The design process was made easy and enjoyable. The project always remained on schedule and any questions or problems were always taken care of quickly. Their accounting was very accurate and organized like their construction site. It was a great pleasure to work with a company who really delivers on their promises.
If you are searching for a builder to construct your new home in Scottsdale, please take my advise you will be making a big mistake if you don’t consider Elite Luxury Homes.
Sincerely,

Now that Craig and I have had a few months to settle into our new home in Desert Mountain, I wanted to express our gratitude to you and your company for building our dream home and our investment home. When deciding to build two homes in Desert Mountain simultaneously, we were very nervous that we were taking on a lot of additional work and stress. After speaking to other members, many had told us to buy a spec home to avoid the hassle of building a house. The problem is we wanted something unique that fit our lifestyle and specific design tastes and with a spec home you cannot find that and you are paying a surcharge for them to take the risk of building the spec. So we decided to go against the grain. You guys handled everything perfectly and made the process worry free and actually enjoyable. We ended up with a truly unique masterpiece that fit our lifestyle and a house that we are proud to say is our home.
You and your staff continued to exceed our expectations from the beginning when overseeing the design, HOA submittals and city submittals, and all the way through the construction process. Once the house was completed, we were a little worried because you often hear stories from friends and family that say once the builder is done and paid they will vanish when you need service. Your team always responded to all of our requests and immediately tackled them regardless of how small the job was.
We cannot thank you enough for our house and our experience and we truly feel besides our business relationship we have added new friends and we hope to stay in contact for many years.
Sincerely,
Craig and Karen Johnson
Honesty, Integrity …. a contractor that goes against the grain.
Times are tough, certainly an understatement today. Housing prices are falling, building contractors and subs are going out of business on a daily basis and it’s hard to find anyone that hasn’t been affected by the financial crisis.
Yet have heart, they are good folks out there, real honest, hard working Americans that will continue to work hard and help bring the economy back to life.
One such company is Elite Luxury Homes. Chris and his staff recently built our dream house in Scottsdale AZ at the golfing community Desert Mountain. We likely couldn’t have picked a worse time to build, but as we committed to the process about two years ago and like a runaway freight train, we couldn’t turn back once the process started. In any case, in October, the job was finished, the punch list completed and it was time to settle the bill.
My stomach ached, as I reviewed the costs of the build and knew at the same time, my net worth was dissipating daily as the markets tumbled. Chris, an extremely organized individual had sent a spread sheet about one month prior, that the outstanding balance was $7,000. However, his most recent statement showed the final amount due was $25,000. I knew there had been a coupled of additional expenses, but certainly not to the tune of $18,000. I was a little perplexed, but that’s not saying much, as if you’ve ever built a home, you know, keeping track of all the credits and expenses can only be done if you are a certified accountant.
In any case, Chris had been extremely honest through-out the entire building process and I knew that my accounting had been less than stellar, so I figured, if he said I owed $25,000, then I’d write the check. He called just before we were to meet and said that he was having problems with the final spreadsheet and wanted to delay the meeting. Not a problem with me, so we moved the meeting back a couple of hours. Chris showed up, on time as usual and I had my check book in hand ready for the day of reckoning. We started the meeting with the usual cordials and then I asked about the closing settlement. Chris said there had been a couple of errors in the spreadsheet and my heart missed a couple of beats. Oh no, I thought, not a big bump in costs. His next statement almost knocked me off my chair. “Mike, I straightened out the spreadsheet and I actually owe you $12,500.” What a shocker! I was all ready to write a check for $25,000 and then out of the blue, I received a check for $12,500. He didn’t have to do this. But honesty and integrity are true characteristics of this talented individual.
My wife and I are extremely happy with the quality of our home and the fact that we chose Elite Luxury Homes as our builder. Chris Nelson is a rare breed in the dog eat dog world of contractors, but it’s nice to know that these types of people are out there contributing in the business world.

I have been with Desert Mountain Real Estate for almost 6 years as a top producing sales executive. In that time I have had the pleasure of working with one of the top luxury home builders in our community- Elite Luxury Homes. From day one, this company has been extremely professional, courteous, and most important of all HONEST. In the numerous projects I have worked with them at Desert Mountain, they have always delivered exactly what they said they would. Both Chris and Brad exemplify what our clientele look for in a luxury home builder-integrity, knowledge, promptness, and a builder that pays attention to detail.
They have always gone the extra mile with a spring in their step and a smile on their faces. Our clients recognize this and that is why Elite Luxury Homes have established themselves as one of the leading luxury Home Builders in Desert Mountain. Their name is consistently mentioned when discussing who the top “builders” are in this community. I am extremely proud of my association with this company. I would highly recommend them based on my first hand experience.

Elite takes pride in every home we build. Here are what our clients say about the service they received.
"Working with people who are honest and hard working individuals is a blessing, especially when dealing with a purchase as detail orientated as a custom home. Chris Nelson and his team at Elite Luxury Homes not only built a beautiful home that perfectly reflects the needs of my family and myself, but also built a lasting relationship through his hard work, honesty, and dedication.
From the very beginning of the process Chris has always been just a phone call away. He stands by his product and takes care of anything my family might need without hesitation. Chris has become a friend of the family and our relationship has continued to grow over the past three years since the purchase of our home. Thanks Chris for always being there throughout the entire process. You are always there when we need something or have questions."

"Over the years, I have had three custom home builder experiences. The locations were Virginia, California and Arizona. Each time, the custom home builder choice was a difficult decision as the choice expresses substantial trust that my home will be built as expected and within budget.
My best experience was saved for last. Elite Luxury Homes built my home in Chandler, AZ in 2004 and then expanded my home in 2006. In each case, my home was built as expected and within budget.
...Elite Luxury Homes took the risk out of my customer home builder choice and replaced it with confidence. Should I build another home in an area where Elite builds, my custom home builder will again be Elite Luxury Homes."

When we decided to build our custom home, we interviewed many custom builders and toured several of their projects. While there are many good builders, there was only one that stood out from the crowd. Elite Luxury Homes. Our home is an architectural masterpiece that would not have come to life without the perfect builder. Elite Luxury Homes exceeded every expectation for quality and craftsmanship. With details including groin vaults, barrel ceilings, and extensive stonework, we would not place our confidence in any other builder. This was our first time designing and building a truly custom home. Elite Luxury Homes made it a wonderful experience and demonstrated a true partnership between the architect, Elite, and us.
Regardless of the exquisite architectural design, a builder without passion, creativity, and craftsmanship cannot bring it to life. If we had it to do over, would we still select Elite Luxury Homes as our builder? Absolutely!
Sincerely,
